Alyssa Jacey is a multi-genre singer/songwriter, dancer/choreographer, actress and model hailing from San Diego, California. Her infectious personality, easy-going music, and smooth vocals make Jacey a deeply original artist. With her many fans, including legendary artist manager, Doc McGhee (Bon Jovi, Kiss, Motley Crue), this quadruple threat cannot be overlooked! As a musical artist, Jacey was greatly influenced by the vocal stylings of Sara McLaughlan and Jewel which she credits for her honey-like tone.
Alyssa’s contagious personality and silky voice has garnered her over 3,500 shows in her career, opening for artists such as; Bruno Mars, Andy Grammer, Shawn Colvin, Paula Cole, Lisa Loeb, Anna Nalick, Josh Kelley, Josh Kelley, Joan Osborne, PEPPER and Chase Rice, just to name a few! Alyssa has also worked closely with industry names such as David “Messy” Mescon (Ariana Grande/Nikki Minaj), Nick Buda (Taylor Swift), Jason Fitz (The Band Perry), Corey Lee Barker (#1 Hit Songwriter), and Steve Bowman (Counting Crows/Third Eye Blind). Her various awards and accolades include; 1st place winner of the San Diego County Fair’s Songwriter Competition (2018) / Original songs, “Heart Breathe” & “I Want it to Rain” nominated for Song Cut of the Year (2016) and Recording of the Year (2018) by the Tennessee Songwriters Association International / Nominated for “Best Live Country Performer” by Nashville Independent Music Awards (2013) / Winner of San Diego’s “The Voice” Competition (2011) / Countless lengthy appearances at #1 on the Reverbnation Pop and Blues charts (2010 – 2014).
With such high esteemed credits, one would believe Alyssa has been a musician all her life. Low and behold, she only found her voice at age 23! “You never know…” Alyssa states, “… I say this to myself on a regular basis. I didn’t know I could sing until I was 23 years old when my friends forced me to sing karaoke. I was instantly hooked! I taught myself how to play guitar at 25 and by age 30, I was playing shows for a living! It’s never too late to start anything because you never know where that path may lead you!” In addition to being a talented musician, Alyssa has been a dancer all her life. As a child, Jacey was inspired by the movements of Paula Abdul and Janet Jackson. Later on, she took to choreographing and teaching dance in Los Angeles, California, where she also danced in SuperBowl 37.
After Jacey found her path in music, this go-getter moved into TV Hosting as well as mentoring new artists with her company, Image Twelve 28. Jacey often tells her many students; “Don’t ever give up. You never know how close you are to achieving your dreams.” To date, Alyssa has written over 400 songs spanning the genres from pop, country, reggae, blues, folk and even jazz. In her 15 year career, Jacey has released 8 albums of music, and over 15 singles onto various streaming and digital platforms.
As of 2019, Alyssa signed with Tribe Talent Management, one of the Top 60 modeling agencies in the United States. Jacey secured the lead role in an upcoming soap opera musical coming out this fall, as well as co-producing, co-directing, choreographing for, acting and dancing in a music video for a country music artist. On top of all that, she continues to release one single per month, with her current musical focus in the world of sync-licensing (TV/Film placements).Nonetheless, to describe Alyssa as “ambitious” is an understatement!
